How to Freeze a Banana, With Pictures

Freezing a banana is something that not many people know how to do.  Well, at least know how to make it easy to use straight from the freezer.  But with this method, you’ll never be stuck trying to peel a whole frozen banana or peel apart chunks of frozen banana again!

What you’ll need:

  • A banana
  • A butter knife
  • Plastic wrap

Choose a ripe banana.  Freezing is also a good way to save your overripe bananas.

And then lay the slices out flat in two rows.

Now, just wrap it up, by folding the wrap over.

That’s it!  Just place it into the freezer.  When you take it out, it  will be easy to use.

There’s a recipe coming up that will show you how to use the frozen banana, so stay tuned! 🙂
